As a part of our collaboration for the Science: It’s a Girl Thing campaign, DigitalMuse.org composed and choreogrpahed an original song and dance number that was performed at the campaign launch event on the Esplanade of the European Parliament on 21 June 2012. Cheryl Miller, founder of DigitalMuse.org, contributed in an expert capacity to designing the “Science: It’s a Girl Thing” campaign, an initiative by the European Commission’s Research, Innovation & Science Directorate aiming to increase the number of women in science by one million, by 2020.
On 6 October 2012, Cheryl Miller, founder of DigitalMuse.org and former Technology Chair and European Director of greenlight for girls, introduced the concept for DigitalMuse.org during her TEDxVilnius speech on “Girls are going to save the world!” See if you can find hints about DigitalMuse.org in the pictures below. 🙂
